Miami Downtown Carnival/Arts Parade, Incorporated has been formed to bring the irresistible beauty of Carnival to downtown Miami in a two-day celebration destined to become world-renowned.

Grand Carnival Miami: Magic City Masquerade begins with a parade of ornately decorated floats and elaborately-costumed entertainers and moves through the weekend to the rhythms of Caribbean and Latin American self-expression, dance, and music. All people will be invited to indulge their creativity through masquerade and to experience performances by the world’s finest musicians and dancers.

Carnival has the power to bring people together, strengthen cultural bonds, and create new traditions. Grand Carnival Miami has the ability to reinforce the revitalization of Miami by bringing thousands of people to our “town square.” Participants in this electrifying extravaganza will provide essential revenue to our businesses, hotels, and restaurants. Our city’s Grand Carnival is sure to become a signature event synonymous with Miami.

About Us:

This new age era organization started in March 2005 with the sole purpose of enhancing the arts in the streets of the city of Miami. It brings forth events that will unify each community through theater performances, colorful costumes, typical dances, food and music from each country that represents this soulful community. This Company's agenda is to beautify our individual cultural backgrounds. In doing so, it will reveal the happiness and confidence that perhaps was forgotten upon immigrating to this country.

Although it may seem that we are mainly focusing on the Latino communities, we welcome cultural events from all over the world. After all, this is a celebration of life and a new beginning in a different country. Assembling an art event will indeed enhance the harmony of a city that is transforming itself into one of the most famous metropolis in the world.

Our Vision:

This organization is the stepping stone that unifies the Hispanic groups in our communities. Each particular cultural group will be able to manifest and promote their own heritage. The event will be of tremendous cultural impact and will enhance and attract tourism as well as promote new business to the city of Miami and furthering contribution to the local economy. It is of great significance that this vision flourishes in our diverse communities so as to bring unity and respect for each others beauty and differences in this majestic city or ours.

It is very simple – our ambition is to promote an event that platforms the sumptuous cultural legacy and assert community pride by exhibiting the creativeness of our widespread and multifarious traditions. It is an opportunity to commemorate the colossal artistic contributions by Hispanics to the cultural and economic progress of this country.
